AE185 Piezo wiring question

Postby 2Plus2isChicken » Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:33 pm

After a while of not playing it I decided to start playing my AE185 again, and I had a thought tonight about the wiring. Would it be possible to wire a two-way toggle switch to flip between the piezo pickup and the regular ones? I'm not really a fan of the blend knob since it's not as smooth of a transition as just flipping a switch would be, and I can't think of a useful tone I could get by blending the two sounds anyway. I'm not sure what I would do with that knob if I could have the guitar rewired that way. I would probably use the phase switch for it since I don't use out of phase tones anyway.
