Of the remaining +/- 10%, I would say that at least half are instruments that were cancelled prior to completion. That does happen - a guy's car breaks down, so he can no longer afford it; whatever.
The remainder - which is easily less than 5% - are returns. And they aren't returns because there is anything "wrong" with the instrument; for whatever reason, the customer just didn't like it. Didn't like the figure of the wood, didn't "bond" with it, whatever. But even on the few that are returned, they've been handled/played far less than something hanging on the wall at GC.
