I think it's a DCM7 with bevels. Would be insanely odd to spend K-Series money and downgrade to a swamp ash top with a solid paint raw tone finish, they don't give you discounts.

Ahh, you're right. On the right side of the lower horn, it looked like there was a bevel there and my eye was tricked thinking it was continuing all around. Looking at it again with corrected eyes, I see the fret access "scoop" (which the K doesn't have), the forearm contour seems too small to be a K, and of course, the beveled edge that I thought was continuing around surely isn't on the edge near the jack output plate.

That said...the K series has always come with at least a bundled figured top, and there has been a metal flake/painted (Dean Lamb), and I'm pretty positive there was one that was white, but I can't seem to find photos of it anymore...i think it maybe had a white limba body and 3PB...

edit: here it is...turns out it's ash body.

I think this is purple drink on the JB24's standard ash body, but it looks great.

I do believe I may have a new favorite neck. Flamed walnut, and bloodwood. I'd prefer it in a 5, but I think this combo has replaced the never-again-available maple/walnut + ebony 5-piece necks, from a couple of years ago, as my new favorite.
