Got some really nice wood for this build and for this one I think I'm gonna go for a more heavy ALL dense wood bass with EMG JJ pickups

Still waiting on the neck to get here which it's been a hell of a wait, but their walnut was too wet so I had to change the wood to Mahogany. Here are the specs:

So far I'm at a kind of at a stand-still bc I'm waiting on the neck from Carvin/Kiesel. I finally got a tracking number yesterday for this friday, but that could be the other hardware I ordered. fingers-crossed :wall:

However, if it is the neck, I'll be working non-stop so probably (with drying time) a week or 2 :rockon:

Got my neck in (it's a little lighter than I wanted) but hey I can always stain it.

Cut out a rough of the top and bottom laminates,

routed the section where the fretboard much seat

and once I cut out the depth of the thickness of the top laminate from the body of the neck I can begin gluing.
