Thanks FWIW all of these were done using the Nomad amp with the SC90M on Flyin' Away and my V220M on the other two.

I use an agate pick from picksandstones.com. I love the attack from it and it feels great too.

Good screamin' guitar in Sky Rider. Love your 220, great piece of wood there. Your playing sounds good to me, carries a good intensity and emotion. Sounds like your having some fun there. MikeY

Cool blues.

Your bright and cutting tone matches your playing style well. Very Buddy Guy...

I love the tone of your lead guitar on Sky Rider, wailing, and some good chops. The bluesy mood of Flying Away is right up my alley. Backing tracks are solid, are you playing all the instruments? What are you using for brass/synth? Clean mix, nice distinct tracks. In the Pink is in the same vein, kind of reminds me of Roy Buchanan. Overall, good work.

You call that crappy playing? I thought it sounded great! I listened to some of the other stuff as well. All of it was good.

I am trying to play the blues myself, and all I'm getting is the blues, if ya know what I mean! :wall:

If I ever get the guts to post something, I'll let ya know! Then you will know what crappy playing is!

Keep up the great work! :applause: :applause: :applause:

Thanks guys. I use freeware backing tracks and just play the guitar parts, so there is no way I can take ALL the credit..... wish I could. I do feel that my playing is improving, but I do feel like I have been stuck in the minor pentatonic blues scales too much. Any advice on what scale patterns I should work on to be able to branch out more into hard rock or old metal type sounds?
