Weird Vader Hipshot Trem Problem

Postby Sir Shredabit » Tue Sep 11, 2018 3:26 am

Hi, my Vader Trem seems to have an issue with the left bolt. No smooth action possible.
What could be the issue? Is there a fix?
Help very appreciated.
I attached a clip of the problem.
Regards, Seni.

Not seeing anything attached. Is it a video, or a sound clip? Have pictures of the issue? Or a better description of what the issue is?

If this is at the end of the pitch down travel, that's because the trem bar has more clearance than the trem posts - that is, at the end of its travel, when the trem bar hits the body, you're moving the trem's contact points off the notches on the post. It's the tradeoff for having so much range on the trem and the control Kiesel's bar gives you (versus the normal hipshot bar)
