HC10N hardshell case questions

Postby Kondrathius » Mon Mar 25, 2019 11:25 pm

I'm planning to order a DC127 and I have a couple of questions about Kiesel's hardshell case (HC10N).
1. What are the outer dimensions?
2. How tight does the guitar fit in? Is it safe enough for travelling in airplane cargo hold?
Thank you.

It might be worth calling to make sure you can actually get their hardshell case. They have discontinued them, and are selling through the stock they have. I know they are still on the builder, but there was one person on FB who mentioned that they got a call that they didn't have the needed size, and the order was updated to the standard semi-rigid Ultimate Soft Case.

With that said, the hardshell is a normal G&G case, and in my opinion, isn't robust enough for me to feel comfortable enough to check it with baggage. It's far from a "flight case", even when not considering interior fit.
