Sweet -- and I dig the one pickup one knob configuration. The Vintage Yellow looks great with the hog/maple neck!

Thanks. I tried to get a single coil in the neck, but that idea was shot down, but Albert did approve the one hum/one volume (the volume is also push/pull for coil split).

I think a purple DC747 should be my next one; thanks to Twilightdusk for that inspiration. Does anyone know if I can get piezo saddles on a 747? I'd like something to replicate an acoustic...

That would be awesome!!! And I feel your pain... for me its a different dream build every other day. I believe it to be a side effect of Carvinitis. :(

That looks fantastic, Gweb! Very classic/classy. :coolpics:

I can't get out of 7-string frame of mind anymore, as I've been putting in countless hours on mine since it arrived 13 days ago. Prolly never go back to 6.

I'm thinking my next guitar is going to be a CT, come hell or high water. In all of Carvindom, "Porkchop" is on the Top 5 List. I've looked everywhere, and still can't find any Dragonburst that looks as good, ( JMO guys!)

I gave full ownership of 'Chop to my 13-year old son, keys to the case and all. It's now in very good hands, and if you ask the boy--- he'll never sell it. ALL of my gear will be his one day anyway, but in this case I get to actually see him enjoy the CT6M while I'm still breathin'.

Matter of fact, my son played the new DC747 before I did. I insisted that he be the first one to pull it out of the case and play it. Bragging rights, y'know?
