Thank you very much Evster on this wonderful mockup. Alex already has this pic

they cannot do a dts on burl so the regular D-burst will be in the works.

Trigger not pulled yet. but other works have been goin on.

Looks liken I'll be in the burl club, ST club, Lefty club, and Dragonburst club. 8)

We're there any updates on this?

My hunch, the the reason they couldn't do DTS is the filler they might need to use on burled maple. I noticed quite a few burled maple guitars on the in-progress shots on Facebook, and many had deep divots in the middle of some of the burls. Similar reason they can't do it on spalled maple, either.

long story short. Couldn't do it. Had to pass it up. other bills came up.

Guess I never posted my CT624 here

This was my 2nd Carvin custom and the guitar I almost ordered the way I like things now. If it had no inlays and a satin neck it would be perfect. Still plays great, still gets a lot of playtime.
