Preemptively starting the VADER CLUB. All Vaders welcome, thick and thin, long and short.

That sure is an eye catching V8 Koshchei nice job! How are you liking playing your new Vader vs. other guitars that you enjoy/have enjoyed?

In all honesty, I haven't touched anything else. It's a really really amazing guitar.

Can't wait to see yours!

^ That's cool to hear! :) Have you changed strings yet? What's your thoughts on the "user experience" with the hardware (both are pieces made by Hipshot, with at least product suggestions from Kiesel Guitars).

I'll be here soon. I'm SO looking forward to my Victoria Secret's burst on flamed maple hand picked by Jeff!

Please tell me you got it in a powder blue and you're going to put orange flames on it...

I have a set of Kalium strings in waiting, but the ones on it are pretty decent. The hardware is also really good - no issues whatsoever. Once you get over the initially strange dimensions, I think you'll be a VERY happy guitarist :)

I've had a difficult time finding out online how you restring on of these. I get that for normal strings, the ball-end hooks up past the zero fret. Then I assume there is a lock of some sort at the bridge tuners?

I had a Strandberg Boden, but this hardware is different.

There are claws for the ball ends. Just screw the tuners in and they become visible. You clamp at the headpiece end.

Just out of curiosity, How long "travel" do they got?

Not sure exactly. In the 2-2.5cm range would be my guess. I'll let you know how things go when I restring, unless somebody else beats me to the punch -- the baby is seriously eating into my music time.

Gotta say, the Vader is the best all around guitar i've played, I would take it over anything.

Would anyone with a Vader be able/willing to take a photo in the angle shown in the first one below? I think this angle best shows the steepness of the forearm contour.

What would be REALLY awesome, if if you could stack TWO GUITARS (with a towel or blanket between them, of course, like in the bottom image) to really compare the ergonomics of this model compared to something else.
