Sometimes you come across something too silly to pass up. This is an actual sign outside a business I came across last week...

I submitted this picture as a request for a Carvin logo on a vader. I knew it was a long shot but this is my 30th with Carvin/Kiesel. REQUEST DENIED. I think it actually went something like "oh hell no". But a girl can ask. I wanted to match my late1987 dc125 in color and logo. Color they can do. I thought it would be cool to go from " Law suit " headstock to headless.

Gotta give credit to Mike. He asked a question he already new the answer to.

This pic was actually taken as we were backstage at an outdoor gig. We thought the pose warranted words to the contrary, and we don't play anywhere without Carvin gear... guitars at the very least.

In other news, completely hilarious, stolen from ebay via the Kiesel FB page:

Hi folks, here for sale is quite the worst guitar I have ever owned. The reserve is nothing, which is significantly more than it is worth.

Hand crafted in a state of advanced intoxication by the Professional Product Group - (I fear they were not technically professionals) - this catastrophic failure of an instrument boasts the following features -

Low action with only slight fret buzz on all strings all the way up the neck

Goes out of tune the second you look at it

G string pops out of the nut with even the slightest pressure

Super sharp frets ensure your fingers will be destroyed immediately, giving you an 'emo' edge at gigs.

Scratches for looking cool and that, call it a heavy relic like all the bell ends trying to sell broken Squiers for £500

Can't comment on the electronics as I have never plugged it in, it just didn't seem worth it

I don't want this in my house anymore

First come first mugged. No warranty beyond the cast iron guarantee of regret.

Collection only from my home in Witham, Essex, or I can smash it into bits and post it in a shoe box, choice is yours.

Check my feedback and bid with absolute confidence. You've nothing to lose but your dignity.

Payment via magic beans / beer

Effective use of scroll button on this one. When scrolling down I only saw the Dee Snyder part ... then the bottom scrolled into view. LOLz!!!

A different kind of humorous pic. This went up on a Fender thread on FB today w the following caption:

Repair of the Week: Not many people know this, but a gas powered Weed Whacker is a great tool for creating that relic look on your brand new guitar. Another great option is a rusty bike chain.

So some simian bought himself a Strat, and wanted a "relic" look and did this to it with a heavy device of some kind, broke it and brought it to the tech for repair. F&^%ing retards out there.

whoopsy

Why can't we delete our own posts any longer? I wanted to edit a typo above, hit the quote button instead of the pencil by accident to edit, and it duped the post in a quote box so I just wanted to remove the whole thing and it says "You cannot delete posts in this forum."
