Brian Bromberg inspires me

Postby MarshallTSL » Tue Jan 21, 2020 5:14 pm

My next bass will definitely be a Brian Bromberg. He's simply a lyrical musician. I could listen to him just play scales.

I know it's not a new album, but if you guys ever get a chance to listen to his album "Jaco" which is a tribute to the great one, you have to listen to "A Remark You Made." It will speak to you; inspire you; make you feel things you haven't felt for years.

Check out some of the samples:

I was fortunate enough to see him play just a couple of feet away. While another was my favorite performance from the Kiesel booth (because I'm a guitarist), he was #2...and he was very passionate not only about talking with other people about bass in general, but was really excited to tell people about the B2 bases on display, and then pulling out his own all-white beauty to show it off.

I have several Carvins/Kiesels that I love, but my B24 is easily the best of the bunch. Sound, looks, feel...everything.
