one hex screw of my lithium pickup is not completely screwed in. is there a reason for this, should i try to screw it in further?
the picture shows the neck pickup but the bridge-pu looks completely identical (also 1 screw aligned to the d-string).

i never messed with it, i received the guitar and the PUs like this from kiesel.

They're all shipped like that I believe, and they're fully adjustable.
Do whatever you like - see how it sounds.

Short answer is perfectly normal and by design.

It is my understanding is that it is set in the factory to give balanced output for all strings. Same thing with the socket cap screws in the Carvin pickups. I have played with them in the past. I was never able to notice much of a difference with reasonable adjustments. I have never tried the kiesel pickups. Maybe more dramatic results.

Exactly - just like moving the entire pickup closer to the strings increases output, the adjustability lets individual strings give more or less output based on what sound you're going for.
