I love the grain in that, how's the neck feel? I played one of my friend's 6 string basses, it felt like a baseball bat :|

Thanx guys, it does look great, maybe I should have taken better pics though, I hope its doesn't blend in too much with the couch, hehe. Never been good with lighting & background.

Its as smooth as can be, playing on tung-oiled neck is always very comfortable. Feel like there's easy access to anywhere on the board regardless of its width. Very satisfied :)

Just insane. I am 99% sure my next Carvin will have Claro. So beautiful. I love the lines running through the headstock, too.

Hey, Neeraj, super-sharp looking instrument.

I'd like to ask about the walnut stripes/tung oil back of neck combo. I've heard this can be an issue, with the stripes protruding ever so slightly. Any issues with smoothness of back of neck?

I can barely feel it at the area where neck thickens into the body start, but its not like its the way. Even if I try to play faster, the friction is still at a minimum. I have a XB75 with the same deal, and I'm quite used to it now.

beautiful bass. If I were ever decide to get a bass it would definitely be an Icon. I hear they have had disappointing sales numbers with this model and it amazes me. I think its the nicest design they have and am actually a little jealous they dont have a similar guitar model. I much prefer this body style over the standard LB series. But being a guitar player I must admit I know not one thing about bass guitars and what most players look for in terms of style and sound so I can only base my opinion on aesthetics and no real experience. Again though, you have gorgeous instrument there.
