Re: What are you listening to right now?
I had a stray memory from childhood crop up today, and was able to find this...I'd heard it about 24 years ago, when someone had a tape of it.
Gillum - obscure 90's christian rapper. Why did I remember this? To be fair, I'd rather hear it vs. anything from Danielson.

The Stanley Brothers: Bootleg John
In the land of Breathed County was raised a crooked man
Made the county dry and the prices high
For the bootleg whiskey man
His age was barely twenty-one, his family was ashamed
They had a son who left his home
For a bootleg whiskey game
Bootleg John won't you come on home
Your family's all alone
You're runnin' wild and your baby child
Wants his daddy home
His wife she loved hime dearly tho' he seldom came around
She'd always cry when he said goodbye
But she never could hold him down
Twelve pistols in his pocket his shotgun on the floor
He made his run to Lexington
To the bootleg whiskey store
His car was full of whiskey, his hand was on his gun
He was set to go but he didn't know
He was makin' his last run
The sheriff pulled him over and he shot the lawman down
They locked him well in the county jail
And the jailer slapped him down

Buffy even likes Andy. Wish I could show the entire thing but it’s too big and keeps erroring out. She starts finding the individual speakers on my laptop and licking them. Meh, my keyboard needed cleaning anyhow . . .

Re: What are you listening to right now?
So, I watched Bohemian Rhapsody finally and I used to be able to play that song years ago. So, I thought I'd YouTube it to freshen up on a few areas. Probably because I search for so much stuff from Andy Timmons, my computer cookies or something thought I wanted Andy + Bohemian Rhapsody because this is the first thing that popped up.

Now, does he just play the Brian May parts I was looking for? No, this dude plays the 4 part harmony intro, the keyboard part, Freddy's vocals, more 4 part harmony, THE GUITAR SOLO, back to 4 part harmony, back to Freddy, and keyboards. First time I thought well, crap, he didn't do the GONG at the end. Slacker!
But listened again and the Fsharp Major chord at the end "is the GONG".
We are not worthy . . .

Re: What are you listening to right now?
I've been on a new-punk and post-hardcore kick lately - a lot of Belmont, Pianos Become The Teeth, Icarus The Owl, and WVNDER.
Icarus was actually the first vinyl I got, for their Failed Transmissions album
The entire Belmont discography is great, but special mentions to Write Me Off from their self-titled album.
I like the newer Pianos Become The Teeth stuff from Wait For Love - Charisma is a personal favorite
WVNDER is interesting because I really really love their newer sound and songwriting but generally prefer the vibe of their older material - they did a cover of Mr. Brightside that was, uh, killer, if you'll excuse the pun.

Theres no better way to listen to them.
I hope you're still listening almost a year later. HaHa. Love Bad Religion.
I was fortunate enough to get in a few nights of the GV30 (GoldenVoice 30th) at the Santa Monica Civic, back in 2011.
Bad Religion, Vandals, Dickies, Black Flag(w/ Keith Morris), Etc.... So Good!!!
I got a hella workout lifting and throwing people up on the crowd surfing deck. Got kicked in the ribs by flying Converse( that I launched too high ) F'n Great!!!!!

All still in the listening rotation, along with many others.
Currently Minor Threat is top of the Punk list. Love playing their stuff. Bad Brains are regulars too.
Confession Time.....

Been listening to some Halsey and Billie Eilish lately. Mostly Acoustic versions, and some live stuff.

What can I say........I need to wind down a bit sometimes.
