How long does a kit take to ship?
I am getting very close to ordering my Bolt kit.
In the builder, it says: Please allow 1-4 weeks for kits to ship, for kits with special options allow 4-6 weeks.
What is considered a special option?
If I just pick what is in the builder, should I expect 1-4 weeks?
Thanks

A "standard" kit is the following. I would imagine these options being 1-4 weeks, while, say, a mahogany body or quilted maple headstock would eb the 4-6.
Standard Parts List:
- BN Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays
- C6C Carvin Premium Tuners (Chrome)
- AB6 Alder Body
- FT6C Fixed Bridge Chrome
- AG1W White Multi-Layer Preassembled Pickguard w/ 3 S60A Pickups
- JP6C Jackplate Chrome
- NP6C Neckplate Chrome
- E2C Strap Buttons Chrome
- 1 Set 1046 Strings

Oh, OK. So picking all the defaults essentially.
I was going to go with a BEM fretboard, black hardware, Carvin locking tuners, jumbo SS frets, and straplocks
If I want it for Christmas, I better order it now then
Thanks

All options on the neck (other than hardware), so I imagine it won't take quite as long as if you ordered a really unique body along with it.

And my assumptions could also be complete and utter crap. I could have been way off. :-p
