Carvin Effects Pedal Club.

Postby fatfretty » Fri May 23, 2014 11:17 pm

I'll have to get the pics later, but I finally scored the last one I needed to have the whole set, unless they made another one I didn't know about. I now have the TO1, UD1, Wah-Wah (chromed edition) ME1, Delay, and I just nailed a new old stock CC2 chorus pedal. If anyone remebers the product line let me know if I am missing any. I cant get to the museum site here at work because it is blocked.

Cool, Thanks for the confirmation there spudmunkey. Some of these were hard to find. I've been trolling ebay, et.al. for a few years. I've seen the asking prices go up too.

I like them ok. I own more complicated pedals by Akai, and Boss, but for a simple plug an go pedal they aren't bad.

When did Carvin stop making these pedals? I'm curious about the distortion, OD, and EQ.

I would say they quit making them roughly 6-8 years ago. They were available when I ordered my first Carvin, around 2004. I think there is a thread with the answer to that question on the museum site. If not, there is a guy there that has an archive of the catalogues, and is quite good about answering these kind of questions. I like the T-01 the best of distortion pedals.

Though I'd probably my current pedals more, I'd still love to gig with all those on their own pedalboard! 8)

I am going to set them up on a pedal board as soon as I secure a power supply and daisy chain. I would love to run them through an older Carvin amp. I want to find out what the best sequence to link them together is too.

Nice! I'm on the hunt for a new chorus pedal and was just thinking about these the other day.

There is a guy in S. Korea that has about half a doz of these new in the box. They end up being about $60 with shipping. I can send the vendor info in a pm if you like.
