I'm sure there's a guitar in there, behind the bass maybe? :P :P :P

Don't let Davie504's denial cloud your vision. Unless you're playing an upright bass, it's a bass guitar*.

*not including bass-register variations of other instruments

But will it djent?

Anything with AAT will Djent :stir:

People on FB are hating on the color, but I like it!

Facebook opinions don't count. It looks similar to the old blue pearl color they used in the 80's:

Oh, yeah ... that's beautiful. The AW5 has trans sapphire blue over mahogany.

Yeah the transparent colors can have a matte metallic look to them, at just the right angles.

This. Kinda the nature of the satin finish, how it diffuses the light, reducing the contrasts between the lights and darks natureally in the wood, especially when it's directly reflecting the light, washing out just about any remaining hint of detail from the relatively uniform color of mahogany.

That one does deserve to be posted here, though. ;)

On the pics of the day post for today, they said the President's day deals have been extended.

"exteded" doesn't mean anything when there wasn't any sort of posted expiration date. As far as anyone knew, they were going through the end of the week, since our only hint was Jeff saying "President's week" in an earlier video.

All of their sales usually tend to be a little fuzzy with the dates. But being that you can't place a phone order on a weekend, it makes sense to extend them a little past the holiday.

I'd love to get a double-neck from Kiesel.

For my own uses, though, it could only be configurations that aren't listed as options on the Osiris Double-Neck info page.

I don't just switch tunings mid-song, so I'd be better served by two guitars 99 times out of 100.

However, I could potentially see a use for:
    [1.]12-string guitar + 6-string guitar

    [2.]6-string guitar + 4-string bass

Since there's no 12-string Hipshot headless bridge, that's an obvious no...and I have no idea if they could/would even build a guitar+bass that wasn't a hand-built-by-jeff custom build, since it's not listed on the Osiris double-neck page.

I'd want a 6 and a 12 and I'm not onto the headless stuff. That's why it ill always be a dream of mine. Unless I win a lottery or something.

I think i'd actually need a triple neck, now that I think about it. Nylon, 12-string, and electric...that is, if I ever want to play all the way through "Silent Lucidity" on one guitar...

(In a dream …) Mine would not be headless, but it may be a carved top. But Gambale gave me a great idea -
1 HSS 25 1/2" scale 22 fret
1 H H 25" scale 22 fret.

My mutts would be so impressed with my quick changes I could do - in my living room. And, y'know … I'd look good doing it. :D :) :P  8)

I mean if you're going to go multi-neck, go all in.

I do like Rick Nielsen's setup.

12 string H/H
Fixed 6 string H/H
Floating 6 string H/H
Fixed 6 string tele pickups
Fretless 6 string H/H
