Well, the sun finally came out.

I don't have a whole lot to say here. I'm a fan of the SCB model, and this one didn't change that :) I enjoy playing it and the quality is up there the same as my other SCBs, so nothing very new to write about there.

Ebony fretboard nitpick: I'm not sure this is from their "no streak" stock, there's some greyish streaking most noticeable under the high E.

Specs:

SCB6H
Right Handed
Hipshot Bridge
-MA - Maple Neck/Alder Body (Standard)
-CG - Clear Gloss Finish (Standard)
FDQ - Deep Aquaburst Flame
BST - Blackburst Edges
5MM - 5-Piece All-Maple Neck
-H33 - 6-String Pointed Headstock 3+3 (Standard)
FPH - Flamed Maple Headstock Matches Body Finish
EFB - Ebony Fingerboard Black (No Streaking)
ABD - Abalone Dot Inlays
-WSD - White Side Dots (Standard)
STF - Stainless Med-Jumbo Frets .048" H .103" W
-R14 - 14in Fretboard Radius (Standard)
-K12B - Kiesel K12B Direct-Mount Passive Bridge Pickup (Standard)
-K12N - Kiesel K12N Direct-Mount Passive Neck Pickup (Standard)
-400 - Black Pickups (Standard)
-CHR - Chrome Hardware (Standard)
-46 - Elixir 1046E Light Gauge .010 - .046 (Standard)
ABL - Abalone Logo
SC10 - Black Ultimate Soft Guitar Case

So here's my bad cellphone pictures! Some fingerprints and such, been playing it for a couple weeks now.

That sure is a beauty!

And while it's minimal, I wouldn't be ashamed to send them the last couple of photos to ask for a refund for the 'streak free" option. It's not nearly enough to make me ask for a rebuild, but enough to ask for a concession.

Super nice, Ferret. That blackburst really brings the other colors into stark relief, huh? I'm digging it.

I really agree. If it's noticeable in a photo, it's certainly quite noticeable in person. I'd nudge for a bit of swag.. strap, cables, strings, whatever you need.

Killer! The finish looks great and that's some of the best flame and bookmatching I've seen in a while.

You picked the perfect pillows for the pics! (Whew, try saying that fast ten times.)

I'd like to see an embroidered strap that matches the pillow design for your new SCB. :D

Pillows deliberately chosen to match colors ;)

I used the tan ones with the walnut SCB6 ;)

Love the tight flame! :applause: :applause: :applause:

But yeah, you definitely need some compensation since you paid for "no streak" ebony. Not that I have anything against streaking, but if you order onions on your cheeseburger, you should get onions on your cheeseburger. Especially if you paid extra for them.

Dang, now I'm hungry… who's up for a cheeseburger run?

Need more pics!
Kidding of course, but you certainly didn't leave anything to the imagination with this one. I agree with the ebony issue, it's definitely streaky. Congrats on the new addition.

I'm not sure the flame could have come out better. I'm really picky on flame and quilted, but at least in general ordering flame is more consistent than quilt, so I did that here.

Perfect in my eyes. Almost a tight mini-quilt.

I debated whether or not to post this. It's not that great, has several mistakes and bad clipping from the subwoofer that should have been turned off, etc. But all in all, I'm happier with how it came out than I thought I would be, so why not?

This was basically a test recording for my new webcam. Got a lot to learn about using this thing. The song is named Cirice, by Ghost. Amp is Blackstar ID:60 combo.

It's like viewing godrays from under tropical waters. those rays really tie it all together. The black aquaburst, on that specific top, is a perfect pairing.
