Will 16.5mm string spacing ever be an option on a 4 string bass ? :(

The Icon 5 has smaller string spacing (17mm versus rest of Kiesels at 19mm).

16.5 on a 4 string is highly unlikely. I have only seen a narrow 4 string from one maker in the past. And I can't remember the name. It was custom.

17mm spacing is available on the Icon 5 and the Vanquish 5. And their bridges can adjusted up or down 1-2mm.

All 6 string basses are 16.5mm spacing, with the same adjustable bridge for the basses with headstocks.

Yeah.. I don't see it ever happening. Unless they make some super thin neck to go with it, which I doubt. 19mm is pretty much the standard, with very few makers making basses with smaller spacings. I think the standard Rickenbacker bridge spacing is 17.5mm.

I hate 19mm spacing! Feel so cumbersome to me. I have 2012 5 string Icon so it has the 17mm spacing. Love it! I wish they'd offer more 17mm 5 string options.

Dimensional question I have never retained the answer to: what's the stock spacing on my 4 string 2004 LB and my 4 string 2012 LB?

Aren't the 4 strings 19mm-ish?
