New to me Carvin TL60T w/3x3 headstock (pics) - any info?
I just purchased this Carvin TL60T. Some of you may already have seen it on Reverb.com. It came up a couple weeks ago and I pretty much fell in love. It is essentially optioned out exactly how I would have had one made: natural finish, HH, 3x3 headstock. At first I thought it was a set-through neck because I couldn't see the neck lines in the body, but upon closer inspection I do believe it is a neck-through. The neck and body woods just look extremely similar. Serial number is 123294.
Any information anyone can provide, such as age, guesses to what woods were used, etc are appreciated. I haven't received the guitar yet. It was just shipped this morning, so these are the pictures from the sale listing.

Nice score!
I'm thinking that's all mahogany... neck and wings. Definitely neck-through.
C22B and C22J pickups.
Wilkinson trem.
I can't tell from those pics if that fingerboard is ebony or rosewood...

Thanks! Already more information than I had. I do have a follow-up question since this is my first Carvin. What do the 2 mini-switches do? Is each a coil-split for the neck and bridge pickups, respectively?

Before I venture a guess, can you tell me if that blade switch is 3-way or 5-way?

Ooh, way to go not jumping to the "easy" answer with a possibly-wrong assumption.

Just received the guitar. Unfortunately I'm "at work" (remote) for another hour so I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet, but the selector switch is 3 way.

Okay then, it's likely one of two scenarios...
1. Each mini toggle is a coil-split switch; one for the neck pickup and one for the bridge.
2. One mini toggle is a soil-split switch (possibly for both pickups, or maybe just one) and the other is a phase switch that reverses the polarity of one of the pickups. In the case of a phase switch you'll only hear a difference when the blade switch is in the middle (both pickups on at once).
You, my friend, get to experience the pleasure of discovery! Experimenting around to see what does what! Enjoy!

Chiming in, out of curiosity, too. That's an interesting TL-60.
All of them are neck-thru, at least from the factory. Could be C22J/B or even a C22N/T or some combo therein.
