The Best Salesman?
Who is the best salesman? I used to know several, but all of them quit a few years back. After my recent insane nightmare with online build #14, I almost don't want to order another guitar from this company. But, if they have a really good salesman like the ones I used to deal with, I would consider ordering build 15. I miss the build reliability, guitar quality, and superior customer service of the old Carvin guitars. We used to be appreciated for more than just our money. I really hope they can pull this company out of the negative nosedive. Thanks for any help and happy jams to all.

Honestly, all the guys are great. They'll spend as much time talking to you as you need.
I use Keith for my bass orders and Chris for my guitar orders. I've gotten a build or two from Mike too. I've never worked up an order with Flock though I hear he's good.
What are you considering getting?

I've had many good experiences with Chris Hong. Granted, I think you can find anybody on a bad day or just have two personalities that don't jive, but I've never found anybody I've ever spoken with at Kiesel to be unreasonable.
From the 4 salespeople I'm aware of, Chris, Mike, Flock and Keith; Keith is the only one I don't have any familiarity with because I've either never engaged with him through FB or phone conversation. If you have a strong idea of what you want and only have some basic questions, it really doesn't matter who you go with IMO. If you want more help and guidance on what you might want to consider for a build, then I think Chris is great for the 80's and proggy shred people, Mike is good for your modern musicians and Flock is amazing for those vintage and outside the box builds.

If I remember right, Keith is their bass and international guy.

I had a really good experience with Flock when I placed an in-person order back in 2017. I had a very good idea of what I wanted from my Ultra V but he made some last minute suggestions which I was really glad about (things like blackburst edges and deep-body binding etc).
I don't know any of the other sales people.

I ordered both of my CS's through Chris Hong and it was great both times.

Thanks all! I was going to call Mike today, but I just noticed the DC127 has been removed from the guitar lineup. I sure hope Jeff didn't kill this model off. Might be time for a Sully build. Too many foolish changes going on at this place.

DC127 was discontinued at the end of 2020.
